More progress
Sorry about no post yesterday…..a good friend of mine is a pilot and he invited my best friend and I to go flying around the Mpls/St Paul area yesterday afternoon. We took him up on his offer….we had a blast!!!
Today…..I got my website files back from Dave at Planet Divinity and also the graphics. I requested that he make some changes to the header graphics for me, which he so kindly did. I loaded the files to a test domain that I have and it looks pretty good! Just about all that needs to be done now is to change the paypal coding and add some of the books that I already have available…..my live target date is still in sight.
I did some editing of a couple of articles that are going to be submitted to a few article directories tomorrow. As John says, submitting articles is a very good way to drive traffic to your site. I submit articles related to computer support for my other site Ron’s Computer Service and the traffic that is driven to it through the articles I submit is incredible. The nice thing about having a good hosting company is that you can track where your traffic comes from, so I can see that some of the traffic that is visiting is coming from the articles I write.
My plans right now include registering an ebay store by the end of the week and getting that somewhat set up by the end of the weekend.
I also need to get a sign up form on the site to get opt in’s for the newsletter that I am planning on having for the site, although, I may just use the optin’s and direct them to this blog and use it as the newsletter. There are several marketers that I am subscribed to that do it that way.
Any hoots…..a fairly productive day and planning on more tomorrow.
