We’ve all heard the saying–”The Money Is In the List”–right??

Well, the question for all of us newbies (and yes, I am still considering myself to be a newbie) is, HOW do you go about building that list??

Just having an optin form on your site doesn’t really do it unless you have tons of traffic to your site and an offer that people are drooling over to sign up for….and even then, you have to deal with unsubscribes. Believe me, I know that one!

What I have found in the last month or so is one way to build a list quickly is to participate in giveaway events. Granted, you need an info product to giveway, but it is a good way to build a list rather quickly. I will come back to this ‘problem’ in a moment.

The first giveaway event I participated in, I added almost 75 subscribers to a new list. I thought that was pretty good…..I have now signed up for two more…….you can find one here and the other one here. The nice thing about these giveaways is that you can find thousands of dollars worth of ebooks, software, and scripts for **FREE**.

The people that participate in these giveaways range from the brand newest newbie (is that a real phrase?) to seasoned veterans who are making good money already.

Now, back to the ‘problem’…do you have your own info product? If you have read any other marketers newsletter, blog, article, whatever, the biggest thing you need to do to breakthrough the money making barrier is to have, and be marketing, your own product.

That product can be on just about any subject…a subject that you are passionate about. It can be an original, or something that you have found PLR material for and reworked it to be your own…..If you think you don’t have it in you to come up with something original (problem), I have the answer for you (problem solved)…access to a lot of PLR material.

If I were to guess, I would venture to say that less than 50% of all of the info products out there are really written from scratch by the author who’s name is attached to the product. I am not saying that is wrong or right, I just think it’s a fact that PLR material is easy to come by and can be very good for someone who has a tough time sitting and coming up with a 15-20-30 or more pages of info on one subject (unless you are absolutely passionate about it!)

So….do you have your own product??? Why not?? If you are serious about making money on the internet and doing it the easiest way that you can possibly do it, an ebook info product is the way to go….and don’t write it yourself. Check out the stuff here, put the book together and submit it to one of the many giveaway sites out there and start building your list……remember the beginning of this post…..

The money is in the list!

So go start building that list for fun….and some major profit!
